Self Cleaning Properties
MS-Cleanshield by EnviroECOats is enhanced with nanotechnology to in order to be self cleaning and repel moisture. First, MS-Cleanshield contains Titanium Dioxide in anatase form, by itself is hydrophobic. Hydrophobic surface holds water on the surface, without water penetration mold and dirt are held on the surface and washed o when water droplets (Rain) hit the area. The second feature of MSCleanshield is its nanostructure. MS-Cleanshield was designed to have nano size hills and valleys that holds moisture in suspension, the hills holds the water on its peaks further reducing the moisture contact with the surface. The resulting combination is super hydrophobic paint surface that will not allow dirt and mold to penetrate its surface. This allow MSCleanshield painted surface to be cleaned with rain water or hose. It is the same method that nature uses to clean itself.
